I’m a product management consultant based in Utrecht (The Netherlands). I support organizations to build the right things, in the right way, whilst building them fast.

In today’s volatile, complex, and uncertain world, the ability of organizations to learn and adapt is of vital importance.

Through coaching, mentoring, training and facilitating, I help people and organizations to become adaptive, whilst supporting them to deliver products of the highest possible value that have maximum impact.

More concretely, this involves bridging high-level strategies with the day to day challenges of software development, growing more autonomous development teams, prioritizing capacity to build technically robust software, end-user involvement, and defining and implementing success metrics to make impact more tangible.

From research to product management

After writing my PhD thesis on modeling risks, I worked on risk management (water, climate, civil engineering, and critical infrastructures) and smart cities. Publications I (co-)authored during this time can be found here.

My research taught me how the making and using of technologies interact with organizational and social contexts. Without such an understanding, the benefits of technologies are compromised and technologies may end up having a negative impact.

Informed by these insights, I decided I wanted to help organizations build products in a less wasteful manner whilst having more benefit for the end user.
